My car was sitting for about 4 months with no use. The other day a friend and i went to start it up and drive it around. It was hard to start at first but eventually started. It was running fine but i let it idle for almost an hour and i noticed that the engine would just die every 20 minutes or so. Well, today the thing wont even start. Ive checked everything, here is what i know so far:

-Has compression (90-100 psi dead cold)
-Has spark on all 4 (firing order is correct)
-Has fuel pressure (disconnected the Fuel return and watched fuel pour out the FPR)
-Can feel the injectors click when turning over/trying to start
-The harmonic dampner is off because it separated, so i cant run it for very long.

The damn thing ran yesterday so what could it be?

I pulled the valve cover and all the rockers are intact, so im pretty sure the timing is good, im going to take off the tire and check it out 100% today tho.

Cranks normal. I just had a chip put in the ECU, should be fine.

But if its getting spark and fuel shoudlnt the ECU be ok?

Might just be me, but doesn't that compression seem way low? Mine on my old stock engine was 160 across the board cold...and 120 is service limit...and he is saying 90-100. Don't think that would keep it from cranking though. Does it sound like it even wants to start? Did you just check that the firing order was correct or did you actually take the plugs out and make sure they were sparking?

I have no idea what cold compression is. It makes sense for the compression to be lower when the motor is cold since nothing is hot enough to expand and create a good seal.
