Alright guys and girls, here it is, the night before i came home and car was fine and everything, and then in the morning when i woke up the car started fine and all but then later, and kept on driving it, and all the sudden the car dies and the check engine light comes on and that was it, and i tried turning it on, it has a crank in it and all and it sounds like i wants to start, but it just wont, so then after trying to start it a couple of times smoke came out of the vents, and i think it was from trying to start it so many times, so i opened up the hook and checked for electrical problems and there werent any, but then when i checked the coolent, there wasnt any in there and it was cold the night before, so from what i heard was that my block could of cracked and it wont start the engine without it. So please anyone that knows anything and i mean anything please email me or leace a thread, thank you guys for helping..

i would hope it was my head if i were in your shoes.

you say it has no coolant? did you try to drain any? did it over heat? i guess i really don't know what happened.

if it over heated i would say you might have warped your head because it is made of cast aluminum and it starts to melt faster than steal.

well i drained it and then i put the coolent in and it still didnt work, so while i was trying to start it over and over smoke came out of my vents, and that was it, it could be the heads or the block. i really don't know and i really need help with this..

well ok someone told me that it could be my ecu, but why would it just burn up like that, out of no where. so do you think its the ecu, i just got this car and i don't know that much about it.

That sounds more likely to be the case to me, right now. Yes, ECUs can and will be working fine one day and crap out on you the next. Pull it out, check to see if you can see any visible indications on it. If at all possible find someone local that has a working ECU you could try in your car, see if that fixes your problem; quick and easy way to find out.
