Well here's the deal. I drove my GST to work today (kind of fast because i was a little late). I shut the car off went into work and came out on my break to move it into the employee parking spaces. It wouldn't start. It cranks over fine, but wont fire. i the first few times it wanted to fire up but couldn't quite catch it. So I'm thinking the fuel pump went bad because i been noticing the last few days it been lagging in hp towards the top end. Can anybody help, I'm going to test for spark tomorrow, how would i test for fuel and what else should i check for? thanks for your help ahead of time.

im pretty sure one of the plugs by the timing ground connector on the fire wall will activate the pump . with the car off u should be able to hear it . if you cant hear it u can disconect the line going into the rail , put it in a gas can , and try the pump . just be carefull not to spray fuel everywhere

While on the phone with my dad troubleshooting my issue, we discovered the pump has no power going to it, does anybody know where the relays are? im looking in the book, but its not clear....it just says to locate in the passenger compartment.

And also, i just read that the pump wont have power going to it unless the key is turned (basically the coil has to be firing) is this true? I put a test light to the wires with the to the on position and the wires had no power.

Resolved My timing belt jump a tooth, bent the intake valves and destroyed the valve seals.....Awesome!
