car wont let me log?

latly i have been buying parts to help me tune my car. so i finally get a logger and it works good for about a week but now it just doesnt read things any more. also when i go to shut off codes it says "ecu error" wtf? i dont know if this would help but i also recently did a interior swap and their are 4 plugs by the diagnostics plug that you have to disconnect to swap the dashes. any help would be appreaciated.

just responding after i fixed my problem. well apparently when i was doing my dash swap i didnt push in all the plugs near the diagnostic ports and one was just needing to be pushed in a little farther.
