car will stall if the rev the car up high rpms when its idling

I have a 98 gs-t spyder (turbo) with a greddy set up. I was wondering if the iac would cause my car to struggle to stay running if I press on the gas and rev it in high rpms and then let up off the gas. It will fight to stay started and then run at normal idle. after i let up off the gas the idle will drop to as low as 400 rpms and then go back to normal at 800 rpms at idle. the car will also drop really low quick when i shift gears and if i dont shift fast enough the car will cut off and i will have to let up off the clutch so it will start right back up while its rolling down the street.

I've seen this with faulty IAC, vaccuum/boost leaks or a bad maf, the maf is the easiest to swap out. do you hear the IAC come on when you turn the key when you first start the car?

i know its not a boost leak but ill look for vacuum leaks and check out the iac. thanks!

does the iac make a like click kind of noise on the motor?

or like a power tool kind of whine noise best way i can describe it

more of a power tool whine noise its adjusting the amount of air needed based on heat and fuel

oh ok then yeah i hear that noise when i disconnect and reconnect the battery but not when i start the engine

i can hear the fuel pump over everything in the car cause its so loud
