I drive a 1990 Eagle Talon TSI. I recently swapped the fuel injectors to FIC 660s and after the switch the car refuses to maintain idle. It will start up fine however it will stall in a few seconds. The mods i have done to my car include: FMIC, GM Maf, Small 16g, Header, DSM Link, and the 660cc Fuel Injectors.

I also logged the process of starting my car and stalling out with DSMlink and i will attach it to this thread.

Thanks for helping me out! however I'm not experiencing idle surge. It seems as though my fuel is being cut off as my AF ratio skyrockets as my car bogs down. Sorry school starting so i took a while to reply.

You need to setup DSM link for 660cc injectors otherwise it is going to run pig rich and have major idle/stalling issues. Have you made any corrections in DSM Link? What version do you have?

Edit: You are not running DSM link as stated, you are running ECM Link. Your global fuel trims look good for 660cc injectors. What's your fuel pressure look like? How old is the fuel?

Changing the value to 210 didnt seem to help. I recently swapped the Turbo however it was running fine for about a week. Then all i did was swap the stock injectors for 660s and tweeked my DSMLink and i ran into this problem.

Your maf calibration may be off. It runs in open loop then when switching to closed its incorrect. Try locking it in open loop and see if it stays running.
Also make sure injector seals are good.

I locked it in open loop and nothing changed. However i did notice just now that i have DTC 0012 - Volume Air Flow Circuit Malfunction. Just for some more info i have a GM Maf with a DSMlink Cable connecting it and as far as i can tell all the connections are good and it's installed correctly. I read in another forum that upon switching injectors i should reset my fuel trim, would that help?
