well if thats all you did then re check your grounds and power wires as well as check your battery. If thats not it and thats all you changed, then the starter solenoid could be bad

Probably either the wiring on the starter isn't tight or you forgot to hook up the ground wire.

yea i have to cheak all the grounds on the car i dont know way it would do that im total new to the eclipse world but i be glad when iget up and runing

Are you sure your old starter was the problem? Maybe it is something else. Is the engine not turning over or what? More details and we can help more.

When you removed the starter, there's a ground wire that goes on one of the starter bolts, so make sure you put that ground back before putting the bolts back on.
