Car Was Fine The Other Day???

OK My car Was Running really good a couple days ago. Now it sounds like it did before its like knocking at the top and well last time just did the timing belt and fixed the sound and now its like knocking again and how is it possible for a car to work good. Then the next day started knocking what the.. ???

When you say at the top are you referring to the top of the rpm range or the head?
