car turns over but no start, little long

ok heres the situation, uncle was driving my car and he stopped at the store an the TT cooled the car an he comes out an the car had been sitting for like 5 min. the TT set at 1.30 and when he tried to start it it would just turn over an over an over an nothing happend. so i drive down wit tools at hand an notice the coolant was a lil low so filled it up with 16oz of water (bought a water bottle in the store) n then i took the spark pl;ug out an turned the car over an it gets spark so i stick the plug back in an turn the car over for a good 30-40 seconds with at WOT and took the plug back out, it was dry an no gas fumes at all so i left it out an did the same thing an no fuel in the cyl. so thinkn the ECU might need to be reset as it was repplaced 2 weeks ago, i diconnected the battery an let it sit for 20 min. (all this in th eparking lot) and i connect it again an same shit. i pushed it home approx. 1 mile (mostly a slight down hill :laugh: ) and checked all the fuses an let the car sit over nite an still same damn thing. has anyone had this problem before, it seems as if the injectors arnt spraying at all and all the connectons to them r fine. injectors getting signal? if not sounds like a fuel pump. good luck.
