Hey all. So, posting my first issue up on the forum :)

This has been an issue for me for awhile and it'd be nice to finally get it figured it out.

A lot of my build was done at once.

My DSMLink along with injectors and E85 were all done at the same time.
Prior to this it never did any of this.

My car actually has never been that hard to get started when cold. Normally it'll crank a couple times and fire right up and idle smooth around 2k and drop to around 1.2k until it warms up enough to go to its 800ish idle with the 272 cams.

However if the car has been driven and is warm and I start it - usually the first time it'll start up and sputter a bit and 50% of the time it'll die. I'll start it again and it'll sputter for a split second then idle perfectly fine. It doesn't do this at all when cold.

Any ideas?

My car did that and intake valve cleaner gas additive solved that snce that is a symptom of dirty intake valves. Worth a try and cheap enough :thumb:

I had the same "hard to start" problem on my car for a while. Found out that i installed the o-ring on my fuel pump wrong and it was causing my system pressure to drop to 0, i literally had to put my foot down on the gas to get it to start. Do you have a fuel pressure guage? does it keep pressure when you shut off the car or drop?

EDIT: not sure if this applies to E85.

I can't imagine the valves being dirty or gummed up.

It has around 4,000 miles on it since we re-did the head wiith valves/springs/retainers/cams and I'm pretty easy on the car. It has about 2,000 miles on it since my switch to DSMLink / 1100cc injectors / E85.

I'll check the fuel pump here in a bit. However I don't have to hold the gas at all when I start it.

Thanks
