Car starts then dies immeditely when warm

Hello, I am having a very irritating problem with my 91 talon TSI. Every morning the car will start the first time every single time. However when i drive the car and it reaches normal operating temperature and i turn the car off, it will turn on and then immeditely die and the CEL will come on. After enough starting, it will eventually stay on and i will be able to drive it. The CEL is code 14 and 23, I have replaced the TPS about 200 miles ago and I've tried 2 different CAS with the same results. While the car is running the CEL will come off and on but will eventually turn off after the car is fully warm. The Vacuum on the car is very low (10-11inhg) and so is the compression in cylinder 1 (125,150,155,155). The car is pretty much stock except for the evo16g. Is the compression in cylinder one causing this problem? or is it something else?

I read about a similar situation in a 1g. I believe the coolant temp sensor was the fault. Have you researched the two codes to get a discription? If the compression in cylinder 1 is low it should still run w out dying. I would look into getting the vacuum situation resolved and figure out the CEL codes.

I would think you should be seeing at least 18-20Hg at idle

14 is the TPS and 23 is the CAS.

Assuming the ECU is good, it sounds like it could be a wiring problem in the harness that runs along the front of the intake manifold.

swap out the cas and see if that fix the problem.
