Car started slowing down on highway till stop

Hey everyone well I have a question I was driving on the High Way then all of a sudden my car felt like it was losing fuel it started slowing down it didn't power off my engine would rev fine I could down shift and hear the gear changes as the rpms went up I also felt it in the car but the car stopped accelerating as I pressed the gas then it powered off so I turned the car on again and put it in first then it moved a little and powered off again from there it wouldn't power on I could just crank and I can hear it crank again and again just fine the timing belt has no issues I personally think it is either the Fuel Pump or The ECU/Computer but I don't really know if I put a little bit of starter fluid I know it's not good but I wanted to see if it would power on and it did but it powered on and stayed one for like 30 seconds then powered off and just cranked

You are probably correct. go diagnose ecu and fuel pump circuits. post back if you have specific questions.

Had this happen 2 me about 8 years ago in a 1g was surgine and would die every once and a while then one day died while driving tried to bump start it back on and nothing. 40 dollar junk yard ecu and she was good 2 go. Do you have the ecu diag procedure

Check the ignition control module I had a problem like this and that was the problem
