I am back finally been awhile I swapped heads about 2months ago due to a bad 2g head. On my 6 bolt block swapped it with a known good 1G head.
I then found I had a bad coil pack. I ordered one and replaced it.
Got new NGK plugs and wires. Everything seemed to be fine at this point
So after the car sit for the last 2 weeks. Now when I go to drive it found that
it spits and sputters pretty much at any throttle.

Did a BLT it was fine checked Vac lines they look fine. Can't hear any leaks. There is no CEL. Checked the plugs they look fine. Checked the timing it is a little advanced like 8 degrees but it has been like this forever.

Just wondering if anyone has some tips on what to check.
Starting to give up on the car engine was installed in March and I have only got 95 miles on it and it seems that if it isn't one thing it is another.

im curious to kno what the car was doing while you had the first 2g head ? were the problems then any of the same now? just a thought. make sure all your plugs are connected that go to head. also more importantly like stated already check all timing.

well fix your timing first if you say its off. and check the gapping on your plugs. which type did you buy?

The Plugs are the NGK BPRE6. I have gapped them at .028 and .030 same results. The Coil packs are new. There is no misfire codes at all.

I am going to redo the timing and see if it makes a difference but I have ran the car before with the timing advanced as much as 12 degrees.

The reason for pulling the 2G head was because the valve guide was leaking oil into port 2 of the exhaust manifold. The car seemed to of ran alot better with the 2G head just leaked oil like crazy.
