I was driving a STOCK (except catback exhaust ) 90 TSI AWD that was a friend of mine and i was going into third when it cut out on me. I heard the engine still turning over, as i coasted to a hault. When i tried turning it over, it would turn, but no attempt at fireing occured at all. I checked the fuses and they were fine, fuel pump was working fine. The battery was charged everything was grounded. Most of the maintence parts were replaced (plugs, wires, fuel filter,) I havent had much time to look at it i was just wondering if anyone else has had this dilema. Thank You

timing belt, open the oil cap and see if the cams are spinning while someone cranks it, be careful-do it quick as if u havent already u may bend valves

Nice call unfortunately I just recieved word that the timming belt broke. Thanks for the help.
