I need to ship a car from long island ny to red oak ia.

Does any one know a cheap site to go through please help.

I need to ship for $5-600.

Unfortunately, I don't know any shipping companies with reasonable prices. However, I do know a method that could save you some money. I live in Maryland, and I purchased my car from someone who lives 1300 miles away. Instead of having the car shipped (Cheapest estimate was about $800), I flew to Oklahoma and drove the car back. The plane ticket was only $175. I had to also stay in a motel, which was $35. Also, there were gas costs. I would say I put in about 4 tanks of gas ($80-100). I saved $400-500 by picking the car up myself and driving it back. You are a similar distance away from your destination. Your costs should be approximately the same.

PS: Round trip plane tickets are cheaper than one-way tickets. Buy a round trip ticket and don't catch the return flight, if you follow this method of purchase.
