Car sat for 2 days now wont start!

Now this does not need to be replyed to fast or anything. I let my car sit 2-3 days mostly because i was almost out of gas (idiot light keep flicking on and off). Today i went and got 5 gallons of gas put it in and try to start it. It turns over fine no problem there. Now i think its a electric problem mainly because i took out one of the spark plug wires and put it to metal and tryed to turn the car over and there was not any spark there. Uh thats mainly all i know i tryed 2 diffrent batterys no luck. Thanks

might be yours ignition module if there is no spark to the spark plugs same thing happened to my 1g when i bought it put a new one in and it started right away

Is there a way to test it first?

Replace all your spark plugs and try it out. Also check to see if your cable wires aren't faulty.

should i get a new distributor and all that junk to?

No not yet, always start with the small things first before you start throwing a bunch of money on it.
It'll help you determine what was the real cause of the problem step by step.

Its not the plugs they are new. Plus the wires arnt making spark so yeah.

How hard is it to take off the distributor cap?

not hard at all like 2 bolts

I don't want to be a dick, but good luck finding your distributor/cap. Mitsubishi forgot to install them! If it's a 91gsx/tsi it's distributorless. There is a (depending how you look at it) a simple procedure to check the ignition transistor. You can find it in the chilton and haynes manuals, or on VFAQ.com. Probably on here, too, in the tech forums. The whole system consists of the plugs/wires, coilpack, tranister, and ECU. Make sure the transister is plugged in. I hear they can come loose. Then you would have no spark. Check the coil's resistence w/ an ohm meter, and compare to specs.
You're probably dealing with a bad coil, transister, or a bad connection.
