car not reving over 3 grand

i have a 1998 eagle talon tsi automatic. when i drive the car and i give it gas it will not rev over 3 grand and it seems the car is redlining. but i have bought a turbo xs type hrfl blow off valve because my stock one was leaking and i put the new one on and the car ran fine for about 2 weeks and now it seems that the bov is leaking but i do not know the problem. can any one help me asap?? thanks
