Yes, I searched.
It was happening at random before, now its being consistant. It only happens at WOT. I have brand new plug wires (msd 8.5's) and my plugs (NGK7's) are gapped to 30.
The RPM at which it starts to break up is completely random as well. Sometimes it only does it at/or above 6000... sometimes it happens the whole time you accelerate.
I know it seems like ignition, but why would it be so random?
Could the ECU be causing this? Or TPS? I'm running out of idea's. Mods are in my sig, and I am not running blow threw. And yes, I checked for boost leaks, and nothing came up.
Oh yeah, it seems that my tranny doesn't want to shift when at WOT. This just started happening when the breaking up problem occured. When you give it 80% throttle, then it shifts fine. When you floor it, let off, let it shift, then floor it, its fine. When you drive normal, it shifts fine.
Both the breaking up, and the tranny problem are only happening at WOT.
Also, it has a random fuel cut problem... but this doesn't happen often at all.
Keep in mind that the breaking up problem has been very seldom up until today, then it started doing it constantly. The shifting issue just started today as well.
BTW- My A/F's are good while the breaking up occures.
