Car is bogged down even after jumping .

I replaced my alternator about 2000 miles ago , and now the same 3 lights are coming on , my radio cuts out and now my engine is misfireing .


This morning it finally wouldnt even start , it turns over but even with a jump its running like shit .


This confuses me because if it was the alternator again, wouldnt it run fine after the jump @ least until i turn the car off?



NOTE:im also getting a check engine light error

PLEASE IM BEGGING ANY FOURM OF KNOWLEDGE, TEST ,DIAGNOSIS , ADVICE IS SOLID GOLD TO ME . I have a mid term in 5 hours and im 30 miles away with no other ride, if im barking up the wrong tree by replaceing the alternator again someone please tell me b4 i waste my time .

Have the alternator tested at autozone/checker/ whatever store is in your area. They can put it on a machine and test it to see if its cashed or not. That would eliminate that.

Might sound stupid, but have you tried testing/changing the battery? I had a similar problem last summer, had the battery checked and it was dead. When I took it out it was leaking acid all into the battery tray

Yea anytime you replace the alternator you should make sure the battery can hold a full charge. If not replace the battery.
