Car dies after I PUNCH it // Corner hard [Merged 1-9]

Car drives fine and all and when i step on it and downshift its pulls fine, but when i brake hard to take a turn the car seems to shutoff with a loose of steering. This almost made me get into an accident while i was taking a turn hard. It only seems to happen while i take turns hard after punching it and braking hard. Also once i let out the clutch and gas it the power steering comes back on, so its pretty much giving out when iturn hard and then coming back on once i get back on the gas. A friend said this is due to a "bad" PS pump 2G turbos, but i dunno. He said its too small and looses power. Any suggestions or incite would be apprciated thanks.

Bolt down your battery, and make sure the positive terminal has a cover over it.

My 97 GS-T does teh same thing once it gets to 1/2 a tank or below and i turn right. The pump is on one side of the tank (right side) so when you hang a right all teh fuel sloshes to the left and the motor doesnt' get any fuel and the big ut in power you feel is the motor going dead lean.

I think a NASCAR engineer found himself a job at the mitsubishi plant here some time back

Yea i would go with making sure you have gas first and then checking the battery connections/terminals. If you're not hearing any type of sounds coming from the motor area i wouldn't sweat it too much. Just try to look at those cpl things and let us know what happens, sometimes it's just the little things that can make the car shut off. good luck

It's his friend....I'm going to go ahead and tell him to try some of those things on the 2g....I've seen his engine bay. Everything looks fine except the battery terminal's...I'm pretty sure that it's his battery terminals...Again,
