Car Died No spark

Hey guys I searched but didnt really find what I was looking for it seems this topic has been coverd alot tho.

I was driving around a corner and all the sudden my car died got it to the side of the road and luckily had all my tools on me.

All IC Pipes are connected
MAF IS connected
No disconnected Vaccum lines
All dash lights ignition sterio starter etc are working.
I am getting Fuel.
I am not gettting spark I have power to my coil but not getting anything out of it A CEL did pop up and I need to know if there is any tests I can do before I start throwing parts at it. I know I need to test CAS, CPS Is there anyway to do this? Thanks

I did the haynes test on the CAS and CPS signal wires CAS Is Alternating .4 to 3.7V And CPS is Sticking at 3.7 Im sure this means I need to replace my CPS Correct? Also hoping my Balance Shaft Belt didnt go knocking out my CPS With it or something else bad. I checked timing and its still right on.

Well im pretty damn broke atm so no. I asked to borrow all the local part stores and none of them lend them out only other way I could think of would be to tow it to them and have them check or buy a scanner.

when the car died did the speedometer go right to zero when you were still driving?

Have you checked the Power Transistor yet? -Unplug it and plug it back in again then re-test for spark.

Also is'nt there a ignitor on the back on the intake manifold, held on with 2 10mm bolts?

Ingnitor & Power Transistor = same thing (1G's have 3 10mm bolts though).

...Unless you were you thinking about the 1990-style radio noise suppressor that bolts up to the intake plenum bracket.
