car dead need help.............please

ok two nights ago i was driving home an everything was ok i get a few block from my house and my check engine light goes on, uh oh, so i slow down and its goes off and so i drive home and periodically it goes on and off and my idle starts acting wierd so i get home turn the car off and call my dsm mechanic friend, hes says he has no clue so he'll look at it tomorrow..............so i go to start it in the morning and nothing!!! it won't turn over it trys to start but it won't, so he comes over checks a few things and well he has no idea either, the timing is ok, and it is getting fuel.


I have no clue we checked the ecu,all the fuses and it was fine.

so any clues?

Read the error codes stored in the ECU, for starters.

^ what he said. I'm betting the ISC is malfunctioning. If so, there are tons of threads on idle surge to help you out (involves replacing the ISC).
