I'm pretty much fed up by now. This is my second time going to the track and I can't break into 14s. It's pretty much impossible for me. I went about 2 months ago with half the mods I have now and had a .2 better run but still this is in low low 15s, I cannot break into 14s. When you look at my mod list you too will be like WTF. Anywho...

My mods list :

Small 16G Ported
Injen Intake
Apexi 3" Catback
RRE downpipe
RRE UICP / TB Elbow
MBC @ 16psi
Apexi S-AFC2
Walbro 190
Greddy Type S BOV

My reaction was about .3 and 60' were around 2.5.

1. ) Trapspeeds are around 96.
2. ) Car is a 5spd.
3. ) Car has not been tuned at all.

Is it even necessary to tune on stock injectors?

first thing I would recommend is to get a datalogger of some kind. That way you can see what is going on. If you are at 16psi and guessing about fuel with the afc,its possible the car is knocking really bad on the top end which will pull timing and you will lose HP. I would say try running at 14 psi because that is about all the 450s are good for. This should give you less knock and better top end power. Definately get a datalogger though, then some injectors and you should be able to get into the low 14s if not 13s.

check for boost leaks .. you should be low 14 high 13. safc doesn't really need to be adjusted in your case although leaning it out a few percent shouldn't hurt. You need a logger or go to a dyno to have it done though.

Even with that trap speed yu shoudl be in the low 14's as is. You 60ft is horrible and that will help you out quite a bit. Work on getting those lower and you times at the big end will drop also.

So many people just go out and try to slam gears because they think a fast shift will be better than a slow shift. To some extent they are right but it needs to be a smooth, fast shift, not a hard fast shift. I think it si just driving experiance that will get you were you need to go.

I would also get a logger and bigger injectors so that you car maximize your current setup.

yea 60 foots are bad but keep in mind he's fwd so they aren't THAT bad. I bet you have boost leaks.

On my FWD I could cut 2.3 with shitty ass street tires and I would runa 14.2 at 100.00. If he can get them down to 2.3 2.2 range I bet his time on the big end will drop quite a bit.
