all the sudden my car starts to get rough and it takes more time for car to actually change gears. when i'm moving and rev the car the exhaust starts vibrating and i have a considerable power loss while the tranny actually takes it's time shifting. can the tranny be doing all the things i just mentioned? i'm at a lost. 98 gsx auto

Maybe because the t/converter is trying to change gear and it is against the motor and shake the motor and in turn shake the exhaust. And if it can't convert the power you'll loose it. Like a clutch slipping same thing.
