To make the long story short, I own my 97 GST for about 5 years now, It only had minor modifications until last month i added all the parts in my profile and the results were 308whp at only 13psi. I still have stock clutch and flywheel setup. Yeah i know it wasnt going to last long but since last week my transmission is having problems....

First i dont think my clutch is spining beacuse the tires are the one that are spining all the 1st and 2nd gears. My first probelms was that when i was stop in a light in neutral and the green light turned on, i hit the clutch pedal and the 1st gear took some time to got in. But if i get first into 2nd gear then i could get it in 1st at the same instant. Days later i notice that when crusing sometimes it was pretty hard to get my gears on, so i tried to pump the clutch pedal a few times and the gear got in but sometimes i hear the gears like not engaging right. Then i make an horrible mistake, i was crusing and i need it to downshift from 5th to 4th and by accident i almost get the car in reverse, it sounded really bad, now its even harder to get the car in gears, Another problem is that when i release the clutch i feel vibrations until the car gets running, it dosent do it all the time but most of it.

I cheked the clutch liquid and its normal, Both pumps are new and OEM. Buying the shep trans is in my mind for the next summer or maybe i will have to wait until next december. But i dont want my car parked out in my garage for almost a whole year and im almost enjoing my 300hp and looking foward to near 400 next week.

I also have a Fidanza flywheel and a 2600 act kit on my closet and a brand new oem Trow out bearing, but i know that my problem is insede the transmission too, I would really like to temporary fix my transmission (hoping not to expensive) just temporary until next year i got my shep tranmssion.

maybe new syncros or other parts? What can this possibly? What do you guys recomend?

sorry for the long post and for my grammar english is my second lenguage.

Sounds like a TOB, or hydroloc problem to me. Another possibility could be crankwalk since your running the 7 bolt block. I don't have any firsthand experience with crankwalk but the problems you've been having could all be caused by it. Do a search for crankwalk and read up a bit on the subject to get better information. If it's the TOB you should be able to easiliy diagnose it. Just have a friend push in the clutch pedal while you watch the clutch fork. Make sure it is getting the full range of motion and go from there. You can also visually inspect the master and slave cylinders for any signs of leakage. Just because they are new and OEM doesn't mean they are good.

I forgot to tell that my T-out bearing has an horrible sound and it shuts when i hit the clutch pedal, Its been doing it for some time now but now is worst, i didnt thought this could be one of my problems.

I cheked both pumps and theres no leak, About the clutch fork, what should the Full range should be, sorry but im not an expert on this and if anyone can show me or descibe it i will apreciated.

All i want is that i could get into gears as smoot as possible, so next month i will get my transmission down and install new TO bearing act2600kit fidanza flywheel new fork and ball, also a full ss line from master pump to slave, -4an. I really want this oportunity to change bad sycros, what other trans parts it could be changed so i could get a better gear engage?

I would say it could be something as simple as adjusting your clutch rod. How old is your clutch? If it barely disengages by the time the pedal hits the floor, I would adjust that.

I would check that TOB as well.

EDIT - I go back and notice you have vibrations so adjusting the clutch rod shouldnt (wouldnt) make a difference. Check that TOB.

i would just go ahead and replace the clutch assembly.. your only cuasing more damage running with a bad tob. i woudnt just to any thing serious about your syncros yet.. the noise your hearing is it not spinning properly this could definitly cuase your shifting problem. when you pushin the clutch the tob is suppose to press agianst the flywheel diaphram and instantly speed up to engine speed if it cant to that when engaging your causing more damage to your diaphram..

Thanks, i was asking about internal transmission parts because i dont want to get my transmission down and replace the fork, ball, tob, clutch kit, flywheel, adjust the pump, and when install the transmission back again, still have the "trying to get the grears on" problem.

Well the syncros inside the trans are made of brass when the wear down they can do alot of diffrent things gernally on a list of things internal problems are last first are the shift cables so mabey start there...

check the brackets ect...

Use the stock rod in the slave cylinder. It should work fine if everything is installed and bled right. The extended will put extra wear on your hydraulic system.
