Looks like a holset.But the picture does not say the model.

We can use holsets, It's not impossible.There great cheap turbo's that do make some great power.

Way too large for use on a DSM. Either a HE451 or 551...can't tell without wheel specs.

we have one of these sitting in the part room at my college. its mint. and FREEKING HUGE... its almost as big as the head, and definitely weighs more.

you could use it, but dont expect to drive it on the street, ever. idk if it would ever even spool that thing. now if you had a BBC in your dsm...

compound it with a smaller turbo i dont know what the specs on that beast are but it could be a nice drag turbo

after learning the name I searched youtube for any dsm with it. Running decent with it too.

There are also a few write ups on it. Claiming to provide 57lbs/min at 28 psi. It was called "impressive"...

If we do this then we drive a turbo with a dsm attached to it.

I'm going to have to agree with everyone else. This thing would suck on a DSM for multiple reasons, and even if you had enough displacement for it it would still be crappy.

Those were done with the HE351; a turbo that is not much different from a HX35.

If this happens to be a HE551, it's basically a Variable Geometry Turbine HX55 intended for 12.0+ Liter diesels. Huge.
