I have a 1G, but the location and the layout of the plug looks very similar to the ignition coil plug for the 1G.

There should be a similar connection where it plugs in to on your coil pack. It should be mounted along the side/back of the intake manifold. Look around and move some stuff out of the way; you should see it.

Yes, you definitely need to hook that back up. I'm surprised the car is running without it.

do u have AC? i dont and i think that has to do with the ac system cuz i also have the cable hanging, car works fine

to tell ya the truth i dont even think i have air conditioning...im still cant find where this thing plugs into...im going back under the hood...thanks guys

that cable probly went into the ac system, then if your ac was taken out the cable was left there to hang around

Looks like the connector to your coil pack. I'm pretty sure it's the ignition coil because I was looking at mine today. It looks the same.

can you please take a picture or tell me where exactly it goes. You all probly think im an idiot, but i seriously cannot find where it goes!! Please helpe me out hangman

Locate your coil pack and follow the wires to see if it's the connector for the coil pack. I'm pretty sure like the other members here that it's the connector to the coil pack. If not, I'm sorry. If it's not the coil pack connector look for the other end of the connector and see where it came from. I can take pictures but I'm kinda new to this community and don't really know how to upload a picture. Sorry. Good luck man, hope you find it.

If you have adobe you cant just upload the picture into there than resize it, then Resave it. This way, it is the proper size to post a picture in the forum. It would be really helping me out.

Plus im sorry guys, i dont know what a coil pack is or does. But i guess thats what these forums are for right? Help me out here. thanks

10 to 1 it's for your AC. Went through this with my swap. The one for the CAS is the same kind of plug. You can get them crossed. Car won't run if it's plugged in the wrong one. AC won't kick on if it's not plugged in. Found this out the hard way.

Your coil pack is where your spark plug wires are connected to, from the spark plugs. It generates the power to you spark plugs and make them spark in the combustion chamber. If your car is running okay then try turning on your AC to see if you have AC. If you don't then that connector could be your AC.

Click on this link and look at the picture and follow the spark plug wires to locate your ingition coil(coil pack). The pack should be located right under the intake manifold, in between the fuel rail and injectors. Haha, sorry but I still don't know how to upload a picture. It says the size it too big. :D Thanks anyways.

its for the ac. i believe that the ones for the cas and the coil pack are orange inside not green.
