Can Someone Please Clarify This...

I am in the process of putting in a used transmission in my 92 2.0 N/T automatic, and I need new CV axles because I pretty much destroyed them getting them out.
The transmission that I'm putting in is (i think) a 94 (the 10th digit in the Vin is p).

I've read that the 90-92 and the 93-94 axles are different. Is this true and If it is How are they different?

Another thing I have read is that all 1g fwd axles are the same whether
the car is a 1.8,2.0 n/t, turbo, auto, or 5 speed. Can anyone verify this?

I don't mean to sound like a newb or anything but i cant seem to find surefire answers for this. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

You can always go to advanceautoparts.com and put the car info in and search cv axle then keep changing the car model and see if the axle number stays the same. That's what I do. A little time consuming, but maybe quicker than waiting for a conclusive answer to show up here...

That is a good research tool and one that I have used, but it didnt help me this time.

I think their website needs some updating, at least with our cars anyways.
Ive entered my cars info (and the eclipse) 2.0 n/t and axles for the awd's Still show up and say "yes This part fits your 1992 eagle talon" http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/images/smilies/hmmm.gif
