I have an FP big T28 @ 15psi and I have a completely stock fuel system so I asked a mechanic that I've known for a few years now about upgrading my fuel system to be able to handle around 20lbs, I came to him for advice because he has owned 2 1st gen gsx's and 1 2nd gen gsx for about 5 years now, he takes 2 of them to the track and does all his own work so I figure he knows these cars very well.
Keep in mind that I am in California which our premium fuel is only 91 octane. This mechanic tells me that I don't need to upgrade my injectors as long as a I get a walbro 255 HP and a fuel pressure regulator, he says that is all he has used on his eclipses and it's good to around 20lbs on 91 octane. I've read on these forums in many posts that with stock injectors you should not go beyond 14-16psi.
Can anyone else confirm what he says is true?
