chtown,
98 eclipse gsx 61 trim 255 pump and afc 2 and 880 injectors , will the afc run these some body told me no??? I used mine for 720's before fine!! Let me know hwat up did i go to big???

No, the afc cannot be used alone to properly control an injector that large. An afc can only properly control an injector that is up to 50% larger to 50% smaller than what the factory ecu is programmed for. If you ecu has not been chipped, the range of injector size that you can run is between a 225cc-675cc. Anything beyond those limits cannot be properly controlled without other changes (lower fuel pressure, hacked mas, ect)

You say you had 720's and the afc controlled them just fine, but how do you know this? Without having a wb o2 sensor, you would never know. It might have ran ok but Im sure you were losing quite a bit of power and you should have had some major timing issues. Just because it feels as if it is running fine, doesnt mean it is. You probably had an a/f ratio of somewhere around 9.5-10 to 1. That will run but its not running fine. Im sure you also had enough timing to cause knock which in turn retards timing and kills power.

Im sure you could have read these same things in multiple posts after a quick search.

Time for DSMlink.

720s are usually ok with an safc as long as youre boosting high enough to get it onto the right airflow timing map. but i wouldnt go any bigger, 720s are usually already too big if you want to run race gas

What is the biggest i can go and tune allright with??? 650 or 660's??

unless you are going stand alone/dsmlink I would stick with 660s, and make sure you get densos, not fic/pte etc those suck for tuning the fuel delivery is not very linear and the afc does not have enough adjustment points to maximize their potential. 660's will be plenty enough for you and if you wanna add race gas you will still be able to lean the safc out enough to do so.
