whats up guys, well....i'm in the market for a wideband, but not really wanting to spend $400 (unless i have to)....i was wondering....i'm running the apexi TT (the pen sized, that displays 02,AF.etc)....i was wondering...if i put a wideband on, would i be able to tap the 02 signal from the TT to the wideband instead of getting a gauge and that.....for example, if i had the innovate wideband kit with no gauge, if i tapped the 02 signal wire from the TT, would it show accurate AF and 02 readings?? thanks

Yes, just program the output to something you can read easily. The AFR gauge and the TT are just voltmeters.

I've never heard of anyone running a wideband sensor off their Apexi TT. It seems a little sketchy to me.
If your going to do it then do it right and get a wideband kit. I wouldn't trust some hacked TT to give me readings. PLX has a wideband kit for under $300, not that bad of a deal. :thumb:

You wouldn't hack the TT as a WB, just use it to display the readings.

Omega can you offer any procedure on this? Also is this isolated to just the apexi unit or can it work with HKS and/or greddy?
