I have a 96 GS with 85,000 miles on it. All it has right now is AEM cold air and a performance muffler. Would my engine be safe right now to run it. If not what about after I do high heat pistion rings cams and new valves?

Provided that your car is in sound running condition to begin with, it should be fine.

Yes the engine is I have done a top engine clean fuel injector cleaning and oil system treatment all done so it runs good and strong.

But im afraid, will i blow my piston rings or something taht will really mess me up good.

IMO if your afraid that something is going to break, then you need to realize that when you run nitrous or do any other upgrades that yeild the same results something WILL eventually go wrong or break. If your not prepared for that then simply dont do it! Is it really worth f'in something up? Now, yes in most cases a 50 shot will be ok and even a 75 shot, but it all depends on how often you spray and so on.
