I want to clean up my bay and whatnot. Under my headlight seems to be ALOT of things. Does it all relate to my AC?

That's the carbon can, it's for emissions and has NOTHING to do with A/C. Unless you have required emissions testing in your area, get rid of it and any of the other emissions crap, it definitely cleans up your car a lot. It will probably trigger your CEL, which you can reflash to disable the stuff or just put a piece of tape over the CEL.

so that whole mess I can remove, as long as I dont have emissions in my area?

thats alot of clean up. im stoked to do it, also found out they dont do emissions in FL

just put a piece of tape over the CEL.

Are you serious?!?! Just put a piece of tape over your check engine light. Wow! Yeah I’m sure that light has no purpose, so just cover it up! Great advice until something actually does go wrong (which never happens on DSMs, right) and you don't know, because you taped over your light, and cause more problems.

LOL I dont care what you say thats funny right there. Anyways I wouldnt cover it. Yeah its annoying to see it all day but check it weekly or get it flashed.

Lol, thanks. I didn't mean to rant, my post may have some off a little stong. I just don't think that telling someone to put tape over their check engine light is good advice.

Lol the check engine light doesnt do shit. Only tells you if your O2s are bad or CAS. If you a have a piston that came off the rod you wont have a check engine light. Nothing bad is going to happen if you have a CEL :).

That's quite possibly the most misinformed post I've read in the past year.

Next time your throttle position sensor plug comes on or your CAS decides to fail, let me know what warning light comes on. It won't be the Parthenon.

Edit: I wonder if you're just being sarcastic, though.

Listen to the ones with the really REALLY early join dates. The CEL does more than 02 and CAS, it comes on any time there is something out of parameter. Usually it's O2 and CAS, but it can also be knock sensor, timing, and coolant related.

But what do I know? My car is more factory than most others here. XD

Oh is that all its good for? :notgood: Wrong.

But feel free to tape away. Its not my car. :thumb:
