Okay its starting to get hot outside and the previous owner did a hack job taking out the AC in this car.
To me it looks like all I need is the belt, the AC line and maybe a new compressor?
Heater works okay and when I press the AC button the light comes on and the AC fan turns on.
I have no ideal why you would just cut the AC line off like that.WTF

Yes It should turn on when you push the button and turn the heat up. Pm me I have every thing you need to put your ac back to where it needs to be or if you have any questions I will help

Well all I know is that the AC Controller Box works fine to me.
All the fuctions seem to work anyways.
I move it to heat and it blows warm air. I move it to cold it blows ambient air.
I press the circle AC button, the light turns green and the AC fan kicks right on.

and that is what it should do . You just need lines belt and to charge the system do you still have the condenser or silver container on the right if not you will need all of that

When you charge the system, make sure you install a new receiver/drier. You'll probably also want to drain the oil out of the compressor and put new in.

What size is the bolt cricled in red?
It is slightly larger that the one next to it....
Also what do you guys recomend for charging the system?
Should I take it to a shop to have them clean and vac the system, could I do that myself?

I'd recommend a shop, unless you have the tools, know-how, and a license.
