Can I lower my car on stock suspension!?

I am going to get a set of lowering springs and from what I have been reading you cant throw them on stock suspension? is this true? my shocks and struts are still good.

can anyone help? thanks

It will work, but you will greatly beifit from shorter struts.

NO. At least not the proper way. If you are replacing your springs, then its just best to replace your struts too. If you are going for a cheap way to lower your car, then I would suggest you to get the tokico pro lik. Its very nice and affortable. I had those on my 2g nt, and they were great. The drop was pretty low. I would have a hard time driving my car into my driveway since it was pretty low. The tokico comes with lowering springs and struts. If you are lowering more than 2 inches, you will need to buy a camber correction kit.
There are many suspension/lowering kits out there for the 2g. But this one is a very cheap and nice kit. If you want something more expensive, then you can get true coilovers.
