I want to know if i could install a stock turbo into a non-turbo 1990 Plymouth laser?...and if i could could i put any turbo in there?

you cant just go throw a turbo kit on . you have to know what your doing . you can not throw a fp3052 on your car and it run fine. You could put the stock 14b or t-25 on , and it should run fine . I dont know what size injectors come with the nt 4g63 . Plz tell me its a 2.0 and not the 1.8 . If its the 1.8 then 1) Sell your car 2) Buy ATLEAST a 2.0

you could do the whole swap, not that hard, and have a turbo car with NT insurance rates! just as i did, and i'm totally happy too!!

The policy on which will be cancelled as soon as they discover the fraud. Such as, during the investigation following a crash, when you need it.

Otherwise, if you're apt and have the abilities, yes you can turbo your Laser. But read up _lots_ about it, first. Just that you're asking tends to show you don't know enough about it, yet.

special equipment insurance covers that, which i need anyways for the bodywork & stereo

(somewhat contradicting myself i know... but hey, it is covered and costs no more than before the motorswap due to bodywork & stereo stuff anyways)

How much would it cost to get a new motor...with low miles?

i dunno about your area, but around here every insurance adjuster i've talked to couldn't tell the difference between a turbo and his own asshole.

12 im in the same boat .. i have a 92 eclipse 5spd with a 4g63nt i want to go turbo but dont know what are the down falls of rebuilding the engine or doing an engine swap.. i need some advise..

prostreetonline has a turbo kit for the 4g63 engine, its a t25 with all the supporting mods with it, its a pretty good deal if your not lookin for huge amounts of power, but it will add around 30%hp :dsm:
