Montreal,
Hi, my english is not very good but i will try to be clear .

I have the stock T-25 and im installling the FMIC now because my car goes to paint job soon and i dont want to remove my bumper after that .

my question is how i can route my piping to the driver side when the output of the T25 is toward the passenger side .

i have seen some people cut the output of the T25 like that :

i want ot know if i can cut the T25 with a dremel witthout removing the turbo from the car ?

or if you have any other idea of what i can do ?

i know i dont need a FMIC with the T25 but i will upgrade to a Big 16G after the paint job . so for now i just want ot do the FMIC before the paint job .

Thanks

i have seen people cut the pipe and turn it, then they would weld it back on. i dont know if it is possible to cut it in place and weld it.

If its even possible to cut it on the car I still would not due to the shavings going all over the place and possibly where they should not be.

WHy dont you just get it painted wihtthe t-25 and stock sidemount and then do the fmic and B16G later on. Goodluck.

If it's only temporary, I don't see the harm in doing it that way. Make sure you leave yourself enough room for the hose to clamp onto.

Also, you could use a Dremel. It might take some time, but I've gotten through 3/8" steel with my Dremel before.

If you had a 14B, or something, I'd say wait until you got the 16G, because you could sell the turbo later; but T-25's don't have much value (which is a good thing, since you'll be practically destroying it unless someone has the will to go out and buy a new compressor housing).

i dont want to install a FMIC with a brand new paint job on the bumper , i dont want to touch the body after the paint job.

i will try to cut the T25 housing with my dremel this weekend , if its fail i will just buy my 16G before my paint job .

Ok well that dremel is going to throw shavings up in to the compressor housing so when your done get an air compressor and blow it out from the inlet and out let and anyother way you can find. GOodluck man and keep us posted.

Use a hacksaw, it won't blow shavings everywhere.

Good idea, but it won't be nearly as easy as a dremel, with the turbo mounted in the car still.

 ENGLISH OR BAN!!!!

Just kidding guys, you have your fun. In the mean time I'll be thinking up my own language to speak in front of you...See how you like that!

Stuff a rag into the compressor inlet, and when you're done, blow any shavings that may have gotten in there out. I actually just did that exact install this past weekend so I could get my FMIC hooked up. Remove the fans, it will give you a little more room to get in there and work. Other than that, it is a pretty easy install.
