can I beat this domestic?

Ok another trash talking domestic. He has an 03 mustang gt. I know I Cannot beat him since I;m basically stock besides free mods, but was wondering if I get a mbc, I have a boost gauge already, and turn up the psi could i take him? This is kind of a huge grudge match. Also what mbc do you guys recomend?

Ouch, this thread makes my head hurt.

All this talk about taking mustangs off the line, domestic this & that.


All I have to say to the "you can take a stang off the line folks" is that. With a good tire(off the shelf tire) a stang can pull a 1.3 sec 60ft time. Let me see a street driven dsm do that WITHOUT slicks .


DSM= domestic. It is NOT an import it is a sport compact. Always was always will be.

I hate doing this but Im going to raise the bs flag on this one...a modded 11 sec 03 supercharged cobra did a 1.7 60 foot with good tires and traction. I can MAYBE see a 1.9-2.1 with cheater slicks but other than that a stock gt cant do any better, if your talking about a heavily modded gt then its irrelevent to the thread but possible.
