Can DSM Link resolve Stall when pressing clutch during braking

Car stalls when I press the clutch at the stoplight. It ussually does not stall when engine revs drop from around 2k, but stalls often when revs drop from 3k or more and i brake harder. Never stalls when just pushing clutch pedal at neutral. What can be the reason and can DSMlink eliminate this?
 
my car started this stalling problem when i installed dsmlink. it would stall in parking lot maneuvers or when coming to a stop after lifting off gas then braking . before link i had dsm chips and never had a problem . i think with ecmlink v3 you can fix this problem with the idle clamp feature.
 
my car does the same thing i ended up having a bad iac and burnt out drivers in the ecm for the isc. if i remember correctly there are six drivers 4 for the injectors and 2 for the iac and the 2 for the iac on my were completly fried
 
99 gst spyder Have the same issue. Never would fully die, intill today died 2 times =/ otherwise it would bounce back and it doesnt do it all the time, just randomly =/ maybe loose power connection to fuse box
 
DSM link does offer what you're looking for. Go post in the forums over there and someone should be able to help you. Otherwise, follow what the masses are saying recirculate your BOV if it's atmospheric, check your BISS screw and lastly do a boost leak test. IF all that checks out then it's the known problem with momentum exclusive to the lightened flywheel.
 
well there's is your problem bro your engine is not balanced for all of this the flywheel is your main problem cams are the second i would find a harmonic balancer to make up for some of the weight and a really good tuned maybe even change the timing a little bit i had the same problem before and this is what i had to do, good luck

Link may remedy this issue but I still think unless you are running a highly modified engine it shouldn't be necessary. I had the same issue and it all revolved around a bad idle issue.

One thing worth doing is recalibrating your SAS screw and tuning your BISS screw. As critical as the SAS screw is I don't think many people pay it much attention. This is the screw that adjusts your throttle bail position (initial TB butterfly position!).
 
lighten flywheel does not cause stalling . i never had a staling problem until dsmlink . we have 2 98gsx in our family one my son drives and i own the other . he has a lighten flywheel with afc i have lighten flywheel with dsmlink and like i said before when i had dsmchips car never stalled .dsmlink 2.5v doesn't have the idle air clamp feature which compensates for that sudden throttle lift off .
 
Go to the RPM/TPS tab and up the Coasting FC offset, this will make the ECU start adding fuel sooner than normal before the RPM drop down to the target idle. Great when you have things like a light weight flywheel that makes the RPM drop so fast the ECU can't catch it and it stalls.
