Can DSM Link resolve Stall when pressing clutch during braking

Car stalls when I press the clutch at the stoplight. It ussually does not stall when engine revs drop from around 2k, but stalls often when revs drop from 3k or more and i brake harder. Never stalls when just pushing clutch pedal at neutral. What can be the reason and can DSMlink eliminate this?
 
Let me make my situation more clear. It does not drop revs when I just push the clutch. When I lift my foot from accelerator pedal at around 3k or more revs, push the clutch and brake to stop, revs do not stop dropping at needed RPM. They go too low and engine stalls. Sometimes it goes low, but fortunately go back to idle RPM and stay there.
 
Check IACV.
Possible post maf vac leak as well.

DSMlink isnt going to fix problems :)
 
I have this same problem to and i asked one of my friends at the shop with a talon and his car does it also. He said its mostly because of if you have a lightweight flywheel and when u just press the clutch and the momentum makes it stall. He was also telling me how there's a way Dsm link can get rid of this problem, Im not too sure how but it can be done.
 
The idle air clamp feature in ECMLink is explained in a lot more detail here.

If you have a situation where airflow metering is disrupted on throttle lift (very common when running a non-stock pre-turbo pipe, for example, or a vented BOV), then the idle air clamp feature can definitely help. But if it's being caused by something mechanical, then nothing inside the ECU is going to help much.

Our shop car does that but its when the motor is cold, has bigger cams and tuned for a 35R but have a small turbo on car. The 35R goes back on soon. :)
 
well there's is your problem bro your engine is not balanced for all of this the flywheel is your main problem cams are the second i would find a harmonic balancer to make up for some of the weight and a really good tuned maybe even change the timing a little bit i had the same problem before and this is what i had to do, good luck
 
i have the same problem. I have a new recirculated bov though.
my mods would be a small 16g, ported 2g exhaust manifold, O2 dump, evo 9 injectors, safc 2, 2g maf, turbo xs h34 bov, and a hallman mbc. I'm thinking its either my IACV or a bad boost leak somewhere. am i on the right path?
 
Thank You for all replies. My BOV is recirculated and IACV looks fine. Probably that's because of my lightweight flywheel and piping. I am getting a dsmink, so I will see if I can do something with it. I'll post the result here.
 
Yep! That's what I was going to say. I recirced mine and the problem went away.

If you need that ricer sound get an HKS bov. They generally don't have the problem of stalling.

regardless of the BOV if it is 100 percent atmosphere then you will probably get this problem. I have an HKS BOV, but I run translator with GM mas.
