Hey guys, having a horrible issue with my car and also noticed there are plugs everywhere unplugged. my car isn't getting fuel or spark but the fuel is just sitting in the rail but not going through the injectors. my pigtails are getting power and etc.

No you dont. My car will usually start without it. You may have to open some throttle if it was unplugged fully closed. Depending on position when unplugged it may or may not idle.

i think i'm just gonna rip the harness out & make a complete new one.

That makes absolutely no sense to me, but hey, it's your time/money.

Let me try to be helpful: what makes you want to jump to such drastic measures? Try to fill us in because, with what you've given us, we don't have nearly enough information to begin helping you troubleshoot a no-start (here's a good start on that, BTW, if you haven't already stumbled across it): http://www.dsmtuners.com/forums/articles-miscellaneous/217951-how-diagnose-no-start.html.

The easiest thing to do is connect everything you can and then start wondering why things don't work. Before that, you're wasting yours and everyone else's time.

Assuming I'm correct about one of those connectors being for your injector resistor pack, that could be the main reason the injectors aren't firing.

We need your build date off the door jamb.

Cruise control, crank angle sensor, and throttle body plugs are my guess. Possibly the injector resistor box too.

If it were a '90, the cruise control would not be on the firewall. In any case, the cruise control is a square 4-pin connector. The '90 CAS is also a square 4-pin connector and there are clearly two 6-pin connectors shown.

I trust the OP knows what model year his car is. :)

sorry it took so long for a reply, had to take a rest from the car for a day.

as for the answers, its a 01/1991 model car.

and the only reason i would rip everything back out is because the wiring itself in this car has been hacked with soooo much & that makes me wonder sometimes. the only thing telling me not to is the fact that i drove it to the spot its sitting at just fine.

i'm not having a harness made until March for the car because my buddy is flying from Cali. to do my whole harness & COP setup. what kind of information would help suit y'all best ??

thanks.

Maybe like why are there so many things not connected? Is there a reason you can't reconnect them? Are those the only three plugs not connected? Does anything else seem out of the ordinary?

Those are like 3 out of 11 plugs randomly sitting around the engine bay. I've came to the conclusion that it's best for me to start from scratch on the harness and take a couple days making a new one minus all useless connectors.
