Can a 91 AWD tranny fit into a 91 FWD?

I know the answer is probably no but I am desperate,I NEED A FWD 2.0 TRANSMISSION!!!so I posted WTB on Craigslist and someone has a AWD transmission.someone please help me on here.if I have to modify tell me what to modify and if its even worth it( I'm not mechanically stupid so I can deal with some modification)please help me out.

People use AWD transmissions for FWD cars all the time. You could use a VCE in it, or if you want to drag race it with slicks you should install a spool in place of the center diff.
