Yes, the turbo cams will fit in your head assuming you have a 2.0.

I've read that with other supporting mods intake exhaust injectors etc.. the gains can be pretty good but its hard to say for sure you can never know till you get it all in anything now would just be a guess

ok new developement. Will my buddie's stock 2g turbo cams fit my 1g n/t? :dsm:

yes as long as you have a 2.0. also i have a 93 n/t and i put comp cams 101 series, street/race cams and i felt a good improvement

question.... don't the turbo cars have a lower compression ratio which would make a non turbo car run slower?? What are our cams now? 9:1 ??

Cams have absolutely nothing to do with static compression ratio.

Well my buddy is gonna sell me his old turbo cams for $50. I am gonna go wit those. Do you think i will notice much from them? Also i know that stock turbo 1g cams only have a higher lift on the intake side compaired to the n/t and that the n/t and turbo have the same lift on the exhaust side. is this the same with the 2g turbo cams compaired with the 1g n/t cams?:dsm:

Oh and I think you're confusing cams with pistons. Cams open and shut the valves to let air in and out of the compression chamber. Your PISTONS compress the air and fuel.ROFL

I know this is gonna sound stupid but i am new and i can't find anywhere to tell me wtf does EDM mean?:dsm:

Maybe I'm still not quite getting it, but are you saying that i should put cams from like an audi or BMW on 1g eclipse? :dsm:

No, he is saying put the European 1st gen dsm non-turbo cams into your car because they are more aggressive. However, I do not know the validity of that statement.

oh ok thanks for the explaination. anyone have any idea about where i could find some and how much of an advatage they would be over 2g turbo cams? :dsm:

If you are really interested I can ask someone over here who is parting out an Eclipse. But I don't know how much power they would gain over 2G turbo cams. I think nobody tried this before.

If you don't think they would make much difference then don't worry about it I'll just stick with my buddy's 2g turbo ones. :dsm:
