So, I'm trying to decide on a Camber Kit that I'm going to install myself. I found a complete front/rear kit from Ingalls on ebay for $187 shipped but it includes adjustable ball joints for the front which I've heard can a be a major PITA to install, so which makes me lean towards the adj. anchor bolts, but i can't find a front/rear kit that's really affordable ($200 or less) anywhere. Any help would be appreciated. I'm going to be lowering my 95 GSX about 1 1/2" and currently have 18X8 Motegi's w/ 225/40/18 tires.

Also, what's the difference in effectiveness between ball joints and anchor bolts? ANY AND ALL INORMATION ON THIS WOULD BE HIGHLY APPRECIATED!

Thanks

I hope part of that $200 is for an alignment. That shouldn't be a problem when all you really need is $20 for longer bolts and washers in the rear.

Let me just tell you, the Ingalls kit is the tits. Now, the install is where you're going to pull your hair out.

Being in Washington you're gonna have some rust? I just got done installing my Ingalls rear kit today after I welded everything to insure stability. I had to cut through the bolts bc they were rusted in and only turning the bushing :barf: .

If your setup isn't rusted then you'll be ok with the balls and stock bolts if you don't have to hammer on em to get them out. If you're worried, buy them in advance and you'll thank me later (which i would do anyway) ;)

I know this doesn't help with the initial question so it fits under any and all information haha

If I remember correctly, all the replacement ball joints are taller than the stock joints. Since the limiting factor on a 2g is the collision of the UCA with the inside of the wheel well, thats a bad thing.

Your better off just getting the kit that goes on the inner links. That is if you really want to get rid of the limited camber gained by lowering a 2g. Id doubt you even have -1*, which I would consider minimum for decent front traction at the limit.
