ottawa,
well i pulled of my timing cover off to change my timing belt..their was alot of shavings of
the belt inside the whole cover..anyhow at the bottom of the cover i found some peice of plastic with copper looked arround it looks like it broke of the cam sensor... now if i change my cams do i still need the cam sensor, im not sure if a an AEM cam will adapted or not???????and i can't find the sensor anywhere!!

I am a little confused. But you will need your cam sensor. Are you running AEM camshafts or AEM cam gears?? If I am not mistaken the sensor is on the lower side behind the intake cam gear.

yes thats right...i didn't take any gears off or anyhting yet..i was just wondering
if put some aftermarket cam gears on, i could avoid changing the sensor cause i can't
find any anywere!!!!!how important if it???

No your going to need that sensor it wount run with out it and if it still works your lucky. Make sure you get gears that are set up for the 2g. Did you check Mitsubishi or Chrysler? Or a junk yard.

i can't deal with mitsu or dodge in canada their F******G pricks i asked for a timiing cover
they were to call me and they never do....and theirs not alot of junk yards arround here!!!!! i need options
