I have a 95 GST with a rebuilt motor, i put in the 1g CAS following vfaq instructions. Car only runs on 2 cylenders, plugs, wires, coilpack, and wiring is all good. Check engine light is on and reading CAS Circuit Malfunction. Car idles at 1k rpms and gradually falls to about 500 rpms and then dies. After i clear the trouble code the car is still on 2 cylenders but stays running longer until the Check Engine Light comes back on.
If anyone can try and make sense of all this i would greatly appreciate it.

Reported problems range from none, to annoying, so be aware. At the time of this writing the most common glitch is an increase in CEL's. The most likely CEL to occur is "Random Misfire" Possible problem sources for phantom misfires are intermittent electrical connections and/or noise in an unshielded wiring harness, harmonic vibrations in the timing belt system, or a bad CAS. OBD-II 2G ECU's were designed to detect misfires from a sensor reading directly from the crank. A simulated crank signal from the CAS may not be accurate enough for some ECU's.

Well thats all well and good but it still doent give me any insight on how to fix the problem. I already read that before i wired it in, and like everyone knows if theres a problem than theres always a fix.

ok well now i got the car to stay running but it still only on 2 cyls. if anyone can help me then please do so.

did you check for a clogged injector, i doubt this is it since two cylinders are not working, but its worth a shot, borrow a working set and see if that helps...

The injectors are good, the cylenders arn't firing because there is no spark. But the plugs, wires, and coilpack is all good. The problem has something to do with the ecu not reading the signal from the 1g CAS for the camshaft, but i dont know why.
