Just got some cams off a local DSMer and was told they were BC 272/272. Looking at the cam they say WEB 546 and es 4604. From what i found they are web 272 with a 564 grind but i am really not sure. I will try and get some pics up later.

In case you haven't seen it, here is the timing card for your Web 546 / 547 cams.


"es4604" is the casting number that was put on the camshaft blanks by Web's blank supplier. Web then ground it with their 546 grind (intake cam). Some Crower cams also have the same "es 4604" casting number because they came from the same foundry / blank supplier.
mine had a small bc272 etched into the end of the cam, on the thermostat housing side of the block
