I'm trying to figure out what cam settings have been successful for others, I've been searching the forums but haven't really got any clear info. I have a set of delta 272's with fidanza cam gears. I have just th stock 14b setup on top of a built 2.2 with forged internals. Right now there just set straight up at 0

Due to machining tolerances on the block, head, cams, and the gears themselves there will always be variance. The cam gear settings on one person's motor might be totally off on your motor. The correct way to dial in your cams is to degree them. All you are doing without degreeing them is swinging in the dark.. even with them at zero.

Very true degreein them and dyno tune would be best but if I was inclined to play with the setup how much could I adjust them either way and not have to worry about piston to valve clearance?
