I went to go and do my brakes which seemed at first not to be a problem. I proceeded to the passenger side which gave me a problem. I broke the top caliper bolt lose and the bottom but, I can turn the bottom bolt till next year and it wont come out. I had to just turn the caliper down in order to change my brakes but if in the near future I plan to do a big brake upgrade I need to remove my bolt with a SENSIBLE solution. (the bolt is lose and it spins and tightens it just wont come out, just to clear it up a little)

you might have already done this and it seems silly, but did you try to pull the bolt out? sometimes the grease and a little vacuum makes it difficult to pull out. i just did mine today and i had to get gloves on to get some grip because it was suctioned on. i would carefully use a screwdriver (not to damage the boot) and try to easily pry it out. if its not that, then i would say the bolt is bent and you really to tug and pull it out. just what i have experienced, don't know if it helps.

i was using a flat head screwdriver and a hammer to try and pry it out but maby next time I will use a little more force but that is all I can think of right now.

Bringing this one back from the dead!
I have the same problem on my 2g, the caliper bolt loosens up but wont come all the way out, I tried hitting it with a hammer with no affect.
Can I just take the bolts out of the caliper bracket(bracket that holds the caliper on to the hub) and take the caliper out to change my rotors?

Use a wrench that will just fit over the shaft of the bolt and pry up on the bolt while turning might just be a stripped thread at the bottom this usually helps me

Turns out i didn't even have to touch the slider bolts to change the rotors, just unbolt the two bolts at the caliper bracket and the hole caliper can be moved out of the way.
