I just bought a 91 Eagle Talon. I was checking evrything out and my buddy gave me a K&N cone filter (I have my intake on order but hey its free and can have just the filter now why not?) so I took off the stock air box and the filter. Well its got the Mass Airflow sensor in the air box. I unplugged it and it ran fine (idled at 400rpm's more though) well I plugged it back in and set it there and seen what happen. It ran like shit and if you moved it car died. So I took everything out put the K&N filter on and just disconnected the MAS and idled the car down 400RPM's to get it to idle where it was. Car sounds and runs great, but since it has no sensor it through a code at the computer and put up a check engine light.
Is there anything you guys did for your CAI to keep from getting a check engine light?
